Harlem Valley Historic Pathways is a cooperative effort by the four Eastern Dutchess County towns of Pawling, Dover, Amenia and North East.  Founder Valerie LaRobardier is Dover Town Co-Historian, President of the Dutchess County Genealogical Society, and member of Greater Hudson Heritage Network, Association for Public Historians of New York State, Dutchess County Historical Society & the Town of Dover Planning Board.  Our other board members are: John Brockway, Historical Society of Quaker Hill and Pawling; Ralph Fedele, Friends of the Irondale Schoolhouse (North East); Arlene Iuliano, Amenia Town Historian  and Robert Reilly, Pawling Town Historian.

By pooling our resources toward common goals we seek to:
  
  • Attract visitors to our historic sites
  • Encourage preservation of regional historic properties
  • Enhance visitor's experience by publicizing area events
